You have a prescription from your physician, what happens next?

Call one of our facilities and speak to a dedicated patient care coordinator. At that time, you will be registered in our system and given an evaluation appointment. Our billing team will contact your insurance company to determine your benefits and coverage.

Bring your prescription and insurance card(s) to your appointment where you will be evaluated by your clinician for the device prescribed. If you require a custom device, a cast impression or measurements are taken and you will return another day to be fit with your new device. Many simple devices are stocked in our offices and can be fit the same day.

Contact us today to schedule your appointment with our caring professionals.

What Can I Expect?

First, we provide a pre- or post-amputation consultation, free of charge.

Next, one of our prosthetists performs a comprehensive evaluation to get a thorough understanding of your needs. What is it you want to be able to do with your prosthesis? We take your desires into account when creating your custom fit. Once we present your options, you are free to ask us as many questions as you need in order to feel ready to proceed.

After selecting potential options, our team works closely with your physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure you have the physical and emotional support you need during this time.

Finally, we design and create your custom prosthesis to get you back to your way of living.

Encouragement and Support

We encourage those with an interest in receiving further emotional support to take part in COPAA, our local amputee support group. This unaffiliated organization hosts monthly meetings for amputees and their family members. Reach out to us to learn more.
